A sauna at the water's edge
Tysnes Fyrstove sits on the swimming jetty in the middle of the harbour — just 60 centimetres from the sea.
The sauna seats 8–10 people and takes its design from the old coastal lighthouse lanterns along the fairway. It is open to everyone, every day from 08:00 to 22:00, and you book your slot online. Right next to it is the diving tower — perfect for a refreshing dip between sessions.
In winter, the Tysnes winter bathing club meets in the harbour for monthly Saturday gatherings, from October until Easter.
